In this role you lead the strategic development and delivery of data products that unlock measurable business value, drive analytics innovation, and ensure alignment to enterprise data strategy and governance. The role orchestrates delivery across cross-functional squads (engineering, architecture, data governance, analytics) and guides Product Owners to ensure we maximise underwriting and claims insights across the business. This role translates business outcomes into product vision and roadmaps, structures demand and priorities, embeds regulatory and control frameworks, and ensures adoption and benefits realization. The role requires close collaboration with business units, data / change leadership and outsourced partners to unlock the value of data assets, drive innovation, and support decision-making through advanced analytics and AI.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing analytics-ready policy and claims data products to support operational improvements and insights
  • Development and integration of policy & claims datasets (loss details, coverage, reserve history) that support operational improvements in triage, workflow, analytics across SQB lifecycle and AI use cases
  • Own product vision, domain strategy, portfolio roadmap, value outcomes, and cross-product alignment. Sets standards, prioritization criteria, and governance expectations. Accountable for adoption and benefits
  • Lead / Partner with Product Owners to translate strategy into prioritized backlogs, acceptance criteria, and release plans
  • Ensure delivery practices (Agile/Scrum/Kanban), NFRs (performance, governance, resilience, privacy-by-design), and control frameworks (quality, metadata, lineage) are embedded
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven innovation across the underwriting lifecycle including, claims, pricing, and customer engagement
  • Quantify and measure outcomes (e.g., loss ratio improvement, leakage reduction, campaign ROI uplift, cycle-time reduction)
  • Maintain product-level scorecards and dashboards tracking usage, quality, SLA performance, and business impact
  • Ensure partner deliverables meet standards, SLAs, and regulatory controls
