Job Description

We are looking for a superhero-level Product Manager to command daily product operations in one of Ruby Labs' fastest-growing AI-focused portfolio companies. This is a full-combat operational role. You will own every process, every feature, and every release, with absolute accountability for results. Your mission: keep the product machine running at maximum speed, with flawless execution and constant evolution. You will maintain end-to-end operational control of the product lifecycle — from ideation to post-production monitoring — with military-grade discipline and pixel-perfect attention to detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Daily Product Command — Own every phase of the mobile product lifecycle on iOS and Android
  • Product Backlog Management — Maintain a refined, prioritized backlog of features, bugs, and improvements
  • Feature Discovery & Delivery — Lead ideation, research, competitive benchmarking, and on-time feature delivery
  • UI/UX Perfection — Enforce pixel-perfect mobile design standards and catch micro-alignment issues across devices
  • Mobile UX Research — Keep ongoing competitor intelligence and UX research updates, studying top-performing apps
  • App Store Optimization (ASO) — Optimize app store presence: descriptions, screenshots, keywords, ratings, and reviews
  • Post-Production Control — Monitor releases in real time and resolve issues immediately post-deployment
  • Product Events & Monitoring — Set thresholds, alerts, and proactive monitoring for crashes, ANRs, and performance anomalies
  • Push Notification Strategy — Own roadmap, testing, segmentation, and optimization to maximize engagement
  • Mobile Performance Optimization — Ensure benchmarks for load times, battery, memory usage, and app size
  • In-App User Flows — Design and optimize onboarding, paywalls, subscription flows, and core user journeys
  • Mixpanel Execution — Track metrics, funnels, heatmaps, and session replays to guide backlog priorities
  • Platform-Specific Considerations — Deliver native-feeling experiences within iOS and Android guidelines
  • Version Release Management — Coordinate submissions, rollouts, phased releases, and rollback strategies
  • Twice-Daily Feedback Loops — Provide detailed feedback to dev and data teams at least twice daily
  • Team Coordination — Facilitate daily action items for the Product Owner, QA, Dev, and Data teams

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial and real-world business experience is a must, even if it was unsuccessful
  • 5+ years of experience managing mobile apps and teams across iOS and Android platforms
  • 5+ years in product management in leadership roles, with proven success managing complex mobile products under daily operational control
  • Experience leading Product Owners, QA, development, and data teams in a mobile-first environment
  • Eagle-eye attention to detail — capable of spotting 1-pixel misalignments instantly across multiple devices
  • Deep understanding of mobile design patterns, touch interfaces, and platform-specific UI/UX guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design)
  • Proven track record of competitive mobile app analysis and UI/UX improvement
  • Deep knowledge of component-based mobile UI systems and UI refactoring
  • Experience with mobile app analytics platforms and attribution tools (Firebase, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar)
  • Strong mastery of data analytics events and KPI-driven product control, especially mobile retention, DAU/MAU, and LTV metrics
  • 2+ years of hands-on Mixpanel experience for advanced product analytics
  • Understanding of mobile app architecture, API design, and native vs. cross-platform considerations
  • Experience managing App Store and Google Play Store submissions, reviews, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT-5, Anthropic) for product operations
  • Knowledge of mobile A/B testing frameworks and experimentation methodologies
  • Sharp, energetic, ambitious, tough when needed to get the job done
  • Relentless accountability mindset with a results-first culture
  • English fluency
