Job Description:

The successful candidate will join a dynamic technology start-up recognised nationally and internationally and will play a key role in the operational and strategic management of projects and in the governance of the digital product lifecycle, working closely with the development team, analysts, and business functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the IT development of Crime&tech’s business intelligence / AML / financial crime investigation platforms, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Translate analytical and business requirements into functional specifications and contribute to the definition of the technical and functional roadmap
  • Work with the technical team to organise and plan development activities, structuring them into cycles with clear priorities and concrete objectives at each stage
  • Define and monitor project plans, milestones, and budgets, ensuring compliance with timelines and resources
  • Ensure the technical governance of products, supervising key architectural decisions, release processes, and technical documentation
  • Maintain alignment between internal and external stakeholders, including technology partners and clients

Requirements:

  • Degree in technical-scientific disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields) or proven experience of at least 3 years in project and/or product management in software development or digital technologies
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python/R preferred) and familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in coordinating development teams and managing the lifecycle of digital products
  • Strong organisational skills, goal orientation, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Italian and English

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of business intelligence and risk analysis tools for third-party risk assessment, AML profiling, and automated due diligence
  • Knowledge of key data sources used in investigative and compliance contexts, including company and registry data, land registry information, and compliance lists
  • Experience in similar contexts and use of project and product management tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Experience in machine learning/artificial intelligence
