Job Description

The Product Management Control Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the of products , increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in day-to-day product management for Cards and Unsecured Lending products such as product governance, client experience, and product strategies
  • Assist in the development and analysis of strategic product control roadmaps
  • Review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify potential risks, threats, and opportunities
  • Work with product managers in addressing regulatory, AML, and Fraud product concerns to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to the achievement of targets and effective product risk management
  • Oversee the identification and execution of opportunities and address gaps in business plans
  • Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Implement team procedures, facilitate client problem resolution, and manage both internal and external client relationships

Requirements

  • 5 – 8 years of relevant experience
  • >6 years of financial services industry experience
  • Knowledge of product control, credit, product development, and/or analytics
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Prepare financial performance analysis, covering revenue, profitability indicators, expenses and scarce resources to management
  • Support APAC management, Coverage and business lines in addressing profitability and Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) related requests
  • Support APAC CFOs/FIN teams on financial management from raising liquidity, capital, reviewing balance-sheet to identify ways to optimize it with stakeholders, while ensuring a strict abidance by CACIB ALM principles
  • Review and update Fund Transfer Policy (FTP) for local currencies
  • Support APAC CFOs/FIN teams in addressing ALM-related requests
  • Conduct monthly performance analyses covering revenue, profitability metrics, expenses, and resource utilization at both country and regional level for senior management
