Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the growth and profit & loss accountability for the B&I business in Indonesia
  • Provide leadership to the team through weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Lead all the business development activities including tenders and provide general supervision of project execution in coordination with the technical team
  • Anticipate and define strategies for B&I related services within Indonesia
  • Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to handover
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Develop and implement project strategies, budgets, timelines, and risk management plans
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, consultants, and inspectors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure projects comply with international standards, local regulations, and Bureau Veritas’ quality and safety frameworks
  • Conduct regular reviews of project performance, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the quality of all Bureau Veritas deliverables to maintain our high standards and client satisfaction
  • Take ownership of deliverable quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Coordinate with technical teams to verify that all BV outputs meet contractual requirements and quality benchmarks
  • Identify and resolve project issues and potential risks proactively
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project managers and teams, ensuring capability development and high performance
  • Support business development teams in proposals, tenders, and client presentations when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as Project Director / Senior Project Manager in construction or engineering projects
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex, multi-industry projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, engineering practices, contract management, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong financial and budget management capabilities
  • International project management exposure will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Thai (both written and spoken)

Nice to have:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 Practitioner certification
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent is a plus
  • Training or certification in ISO standards, HSE Management, or Quality Management Systems is an advantage
