The Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) Program Manager ensures end-to-end program ownership across the product lifecycle, coordinating between Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include governance over the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), roadmap alignment, release scheduling, budget management, resource allocation, and driving innovation for continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams
Facilitates the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
Works with Executive Stakeholders to manage approvals and governance decisions
Manages product planning and release schedules
Manages roadmap alignment and PAC/Executive reporting
Provides updates and input to PLM Program Manager
Directs development of program strategy, budgets, and resource allocation plans
Manages activities of program teams and development partners
Communicates program progress, escalations, and recommendations
Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives
Reviews and evaluates program plans for compliance with management guidelines
Leads and mentors less-experienced staff members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience
PMP/PMI certification preferred Typically 10+ years experience
5+ years of experience managing/supporting engineering teams at the executive level
4+ years of experience with software development and cloud train release models
Knowledgeable about PDLC and Agile best practices
Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing cross-business unit programs
History of innovation with new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and local language)
Ability to communicate program management architectures and negotiate options at business unit levels.
