We are hiring a pivotal Product Lead to join our team in Copenhagen. This role has a dual focus: end-to-end ownership of our critical external subcontractor package, including the vital responsibility of leading future Call for Tender and supplier selection processes, and providing steady, hands-on operational support and performance steering to the Supply Management team. You will be the vital link ensuring consistent subcontractor performance and serving as the dependable point of escalation for the internal Satair teams. Your leadership will drive the shift from reactive issue management to structured ownership, guaranteeing quality, compliance, and sustainable KPI performance. The new role closes a capacity gap and ensures quality, compliance, and growth remain on track.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the single owner driving alignment across our subcontractor setup and providing essential operational steering for the local team
Serve as the end-to-end owner for the subcontracting contract, managing negotiations and ensuring full contractual adherence
Lead the Call for Tender process for future subcontracting services, including supplier selection, negotiation, and smooth transition management
Drive Proactive Performance by actively monitoring KPI trends and initiating corrective measures before issues escalate
Own the end-to-end review and maintenance of subcontractor processes to ensure consistent internal and external audit compliance
Act as the trusted representative and single point of escalation for the Supply Management team cross-functionally
Lead or contribute to supplier risk assessments, ensuring potential issues are flagged and proactively mitigated early
Manage the allocated budget, track expenditures, and ensure all activities adhere to defined financial goals
Drive continuous improvement actions and coordinate global training efforts for structured capability development
Maintain strong stakeholder alignment through regular communication and represent Supply Management in key internal reviews
Carry out priority assignments and ad hoc tasks set by the direct manager, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and alignment with broader supply management objectives
Travel activity around 10 days a year should be expected
Requirements:
Background within Aeronautics/Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration or similar
Experience in managing procurement operations
Lean fundamentals
Knowledge of conflict resolutions
Customer communication and negotiation skills
Ability to balance and align varying interests of stakeholders
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets and deadlines consistently
Motivated by working with colleagues from different cultures and in different locations
Excellent command of both written and spoken English
