Job Description:

Lead the product vision and strategy for a high-impact digital platform supporting Australia's energy transition. Join the National Energy Analysis Centre (NEAC) to shape the future of energy data products that support Australia's transition to a low-emissions future. Work at the intersection of science, engineering, and design to identify high-value customer problems and develop innovative solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Leading the development and execution of NEAC's product strategy and business model
Conducting customer and market research to identify and validate opportunities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prototype and refine product offerings
Testing and evolving business models and go-to-market strategies with stakeholders
Managing a pipeline of client projects, proposals, and partnerships
Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and innovation practices
Upholding CSIRO's values and commitment to safety, diversity, and sustainability

Requirements:

Proven experience creating and executing product strategies for complex digital products with public benefit outcomes
Expertise in design sprints, prototyping, and action research methodologies
Strong capability in developing and validating business models for diverse user groups
Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, proposals, and project delivery
A hands-on, strategic mindset with experience in start-up or scale-up environments
A collaborative, agile approach and a passion for solving real-world problems

Nice to have:

Experience translating research into practical technology solutions
Knowledge of the Australian energy sector, including energy networks, climate policy, or net zero initiatives
