Job Description

This is a zero-to-one role. You'll be the first PM for our life sciences product line, responsible for defining what we build, who we sell to, and how we commercialize. You'll work directly with Abridge's clinical, ML, and commercial teams. The right person has built in life sciences before.

Job Responsibility

  • Define the life sciences product strategy and identify the highest-value use cases
  • Lead discovery with life sciences partners to understand their workflows, data needs, buying processes, and willingness to pay
  • Drive 0-to-1 product development, define requirements, partner with ML and engineering to build the product
  • Navigate data strategy and compliance with legal, clinical, and engineering teams
  • Be the internal expert on life sciences

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of product management experience
  • Meaningful time spent building products for or within life sciences (Pharma, biotech, medical device, or health data and analytics companies)
  • 0-to-1 experience shipping new products
  • Commercial fluency working closely with sales, partnerships, or BD on early-stage deals
  • Comfort with ambiguity, running discovery, forming hypotheses, and updating quickly
  • Strong cross-functional credibility to talk to ML scientists, lawyers, and pharma VPs
  • Clear, direct communication

Nice to have

  • Experience with real-world evidence, observational data, or clinical data platforms (e.g. Flatiron, Symphony Health, IQVIA)
  • Familiarity with how pharma companies structure and fund digital health partnerships or data licensing deals
  • Prior work at the intersection of AI/ML and clinical data
  • Experience with IRB considerations, HIPAA, or de-identification frameworks
