Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Infrastructure team, the team scaling the platform that powers deployments for over 4 million developers. You will work across Render to deeply understand the types of applications that Render supports and translate the requirements for those applications into guidance to the Infrastructure team on how to evolve Render’s platform. You’ll meet with Render’s largest customers to help understand how their apps are evolving and ensure that Render continues to serve their needs as they scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Infrastructure teams, partnering closely with Engineering and Leadership
  • Be a steward of Render’s underlying infrastructure platform, in collaboration with Engineering, to ensure that product and technical decisions are made with the long-term sustainability, reliability, and performance of Render’s core services in mind
  • Prioritize investments in Render’s foundational infrastructure platform to align with business and product goals
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the needs of AI builders and developers from a storage perspective working with your team to develop a strong point of view on Render’s offerings should evolve with changing technologies
  • Collaborate with product teams as a technical consultant, providing perspective on how to evolve

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a Product Management role, with most of that time working on developer tools, infrastructure, or data products
  • A deep interest and curiosity around how software development is changing with AI and desire to build tools to meet developers at this moment
  • A love of high-quality, well-crafted user experiences and strong intuition for developer tools
  • Demonstrated track record in tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills across writing and conversation

Nice to have

  • Experience as an infrastructure engineer
  • Experience building AI apps or agents, particularly for software development
