Job Description:

Talentmark are recruiting for a Product Installation Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is field based covering our clients sites across the UK (North of England based preference).

Job Responsibility:

  • 1st Level support - Undertake on site support visits to provide Installations/De-installation/Relocation Lead
  • Perform high quality installations within the allocated number of days on a consistent basis
  • Use own initiative to keep the project deliverables on track
  • Incorporate customer queries into communications with the wider business
  • Deliver efficient use of customer space whilst installing instruments

Requirements:

  • Gained initial experience of working in the medical, technical environment as a technician or medical technical assistant
  • Can demonstrate familiarity with medical analytical systems and quality assurance
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and web delivery tools
  • Understanding of the Diagnostics industry and familiar with working in a multicultural environment
  • Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical understanding
  • Qualified Engineer (in electrical engineering or medical technology) or relevant Biomedical Science Degree e.g. ONC/HND, City & Guilds, diploma, degree or equivalent
  • Full UK/EU (or equivalent ) driving licence
  • Passport (required for overseas training)
  • Hold entitlement to work in the UK
