Job Responsibility

  • Drive long-term growth of Meta products through a combination of data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation to optimize product experiences
  • Use data to understand trends in user behavior and product usage to influence strategy
  • Identify opportunities to drive growth and prioritize them to maximize long term growth
  • Execute on projects by working closely with engineering, product management, data science and other members of product teams to land impact on product goals
  • Lead experimentation from designing tests to analyzing results in order to make launch decisions
  • Drive impact end-to-end through the product development life cycle
  • Utilize analytics experience and expertise in using data querying languages to query large data sets and conduct quantitative analysis toward actionable insights from complex datasets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Business Analytics, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Science, or a related field
  • Two years of work experience in the job offered or a computer related occupation
  • Two years of experience in an analytical or product role
  • Two years of experience using data querying languages (SQL, Python, or R) with functions such as case logic and joins to query large data sets
  • Two years of experience in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Two years of experience in product optimization work i.e. funnel/website optimization or outbound communication channels such as email or push notifications
  • Two years of experience designing, developing and instrumenting A/B tests to experiment better flows for the user
  • Two years of experience working with cross functional partners (Engineering, PM, DS, or Design) to execute on projects

  • Understand funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of products to identity opportunities for step-changes and angle changes in growth
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and allow to monitor the heath of product adoption in the markets Meta serve
  • Communicate the state of business, experiment results, opportunities, etc. to product teams
  • Influence and inform product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations
  • Lead the product understanding process using data to identify opportunities to remove friction and accelerate growth and market adoption of products
  • Lead the ideation and execution of product changes that drive growth, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Content Strategy and Data Science
