Job Description:

As a Product Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring products comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will be the go-to person for all things related to product governance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and deliver Fair Value Assessments across all motor finance products
  • Own end‑to‑end Product Reviews, ensuring regulatory and commercial alignment
  • Embed strong governance practices that demonstrate Consumer Duty compliance
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Risk, Compliance and Commercial
  • Produce clear, concise, and quality governance documentation
  • Support ongoing enhancements to product governance frameworks and processes

Requirements:

  • Must pass Experian credit check as working in an FCA regulated environment
  • Experience in governance, regulatory, risk or technical roles within motor finance or lending
  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer Duty and PROD4 from a product manufacturer perspective
  • Proven ability to prepare, deliver, and embed Fair Value Assessments
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong written & verbal communication
  • Previous experience working in an FCA‑regulated environment
  • Available immediately

Nice to have:

  • Motor leasing experience (highly beneficial)
  • Confident working independently with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset

  • Translate business questions into metric definitions, data models and scalable self-service data products
  • Collaborate with Digital Analytics to ensure accurate tagging of key user events in mobile apps (e.g., GA4)
  • Coordinate with Data Engineering to integrate mobile apps and retail loyalty datasets for a unified end-to-end customer journey
  • Monitor data pipelines, investigate quality issues and implement automated validation, alerting and remediation processes
  • Operationalize data governance, privacy and security requirements
  • Maintain the data catalog and lineage documentation to support discovery
  • Define and enforce data contracts, SLAs and schema-change processes with source teams
  • Liaise with Product Performance Analytics to deliver certified datasets on time for monthly leadership dashboards and ad-hoc reporting
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to confirm data readiness for key insights and dashboards
