Join us at Barclays as a Product Governance Manager. We are seeking a pension qualified Product Governance Manager with extensive experience of investment product and service distribution. This Vice President position will support the Head of Regulated Products with the management of all products (SIPP, ISA, JISA and GIA) on our UK Digital Investing Platform. You should have experience of regulated retail investing products, comprehensive technical product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the tax and regulatory landscape. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our offerings remain compliant, competitive, and aligned to the needs of our customers. Further you will provide technical product and regulatory oversight across all aspects of our business from product design and implementation to ongoing management and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance
Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product strategy and development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve and implement new product offerings
Response to colleague and stakeholder inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage
Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers and stakeholders, building trust and encouraging adoption
Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content
Participation in and delivery of training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders
Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge and experience of Pension Administration requirements (Level 4 pension qualification or equivalent preferred)
Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape and what that means for our products
The ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into clear guidance for colleagues and customers
Considerable ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, business heads, external partners and customers
