Participate in problem solving teams across BW Technical Centers and Plant to identify problem root causes
Execute mechanical assessments like stress testing, load distribution analysis, and material failure tests (pull and push tests)
Perform Tear down and non-destructive tests analysis (0Km and field Kms)
Perform destructive and non-destructive testing methods, such as X-ray inspections, microscopy, and tensile strength testing, soldering/desoldering, lead conditioning, deballing/rebelling, mechanical/chemical decapsulation, package/die level reprocessing, cross-sectioning, and other FA techniques available in the laboratory
Create comprehensive reports that detail methodologies, observations, and conclusions of failure investigations using data visualization tools to present findings effectively, incorporating charts and others
Work closely with FA engineer and customer to meet and improve the response time
Develop and implement new failure analysis methods if necessary
Comply with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental prevention standards
Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule

Requirements
Completion of a technical education program at the secondary level in a relevant field
Ideally, completion of higher education programs in fields such as electronic or electrical area
Electrical Testing Skills: Proficient in using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal cameras, welding, soldering and analyzing circuit functionality
Mechanical Testing Skills: Advanced abilities in tensile, torque, vibration and stress testing using specialized equipment
Chemical Composition analysis with SEM and XRF
Hardness Test according to Rockwell C and Brinell scales
Industrial Imaging Experience in both nondestructive (X-ray, CT Scans and microscope)
