Job Responsibility:
Leading, directing, evaluating, and developing professional engineering staff to ensure the quality, validity, and credibility of the organization's activities
Creating career development programs for the team and developing medium term planning for growth
Ensuring the implementation of projects within the organization's scope
Organizing, planning, and directing the daily activities of the team, including performance management and operations development
Overseeing the engineering budget
monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and maintain professional standards
Developing and maintaining technical expertise within the organization, evaluating new technologies, and advising on appropriate investments
Contributing to strategic planning and decision making to align engineering strategy with the organization's long term vision, mission, and objectives of the organization
Responsible for research, planning, and implementing new processes into our company
Overseeing the entire development process of new products within the organization
Actively participating from the initial planning phase to implementation or production
Keeping track of all costs related to the creation of new products and decide which ideas are worth pursuing
Staying informed on industry trends to ensure the company remains up to date with the most advanced developments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, or technology
Several years of experience in research and development management roles
Track record of successful project management
Background in mechanical engineering, materials science, and hardware, particularly with fine wires for medical technology products
Experience overseeing the research and development process, project management, team leadership, budgeting, and ensuring the timely delivery of innovative products or solutions
Proficient in English and possibly other languages
Strong leadership skills
