We’re hiring Product Engineers: a new kind of role for a new way of building. The hardest part of product development is no longer writing code; it’s identifying the right problem and making the right decisions. So we’ve reshaped how we build around that reality. As a Product Engineer, you own a feature end-to-end: from idea, through design, code, and testing, to production. You won’t wait in a queue behind three other teams. You’ll use AI as a first-class tool at every stage (to generate, iterate, and accelerate) while you stay firmly in the driver’s seat on judgment, context, and quality. AI generates; you decide. What ship is yours. This is for engineers who want range and ownership, who are genuinely excited about AI-native development, and who care more about the outcome than the ticket count.
Job Responsibility
Own features end-to-end: take an idea from problem definition to live production, across front-end, back-end, and everything in between
Build with AI as a daily partner: use AI tooling to scope, design, generate code, and write tests
direct it with strong context and review everything it produces
Ground your work in real customer signal: build what customers actually need, validated against real feedback, not just personal conviction
Hold the quality bar: write meaningful tests, care about performance and security, and make sure correctness is never optional in a payroll and HR domain
Respect the design system: ship interfaces that are consistent with our component library and design standards
Collaborate across functions: work with product, design, and customer-facing teams to turn problems into shipped value
Requirements
Solid full-stack ability, comfortable reasoning about both back-end and front-end code (our stack includes PHP/Laravel, Angular, Node.js/TypeScript, and Python)
A track record of shipping, you’ve taken things to production and owned the result
Fluency (or strong eagerness) with AI coding tools: you already use them, or you’re hungry to make them a core part of how you work
Strong product judgment, you ask “should we build this?” before “how do I build this?”
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and take full responsibility for what you ship
Comfort reading and validating code you didn’t write line-by-line, including AI-generated code
Nice to have
Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker)
A feel for HR, payroll, or other compliance-heavy domains
A public portfolio, open-source contributions, or side projects that show how you think
