Product Engineer 3

• Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment
• Supports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support
• Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems
• Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products
• Provides technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues
• Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites supporting near term product releases and solve customer issues
• Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment

• Master’s degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience
• or a PhD with no previous professional experience
• or equivalent experience
• Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills
• Clear communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time

• Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial
• Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment
• Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams
• Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities
