Commercial Intelligence is a central Hub providing Product Pricing, Digital Quoting Tools and Data Insights. We define and execute innovative, data-driven commercial strategy for Vodafone Business customers across the product portfolio which can increasingly be executed through a digital, self-serve journey for Sales. The product economics specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining pricing tools and contributing to the commercial strategy for Vodafone Business products. The role has a crucial part to play in the success of the new product operating model by producing commercial assets which enable local markets to scale products quickly and efficiently and with maximum commercial impact.
Job Responsibility:
Engage with local markets (OpCo’s), NPD project teams and the Commercial Strategy Senior Manager to support the commercial design for new products
Develop offline (excel) and digital pricing tools for Vodafone Business products
Ensure that tools align to a consistent approach across the product portfolio
Review and maintain existing pricing tools to confirm pricing is market relevant and costs are accurate
Act as Commercial subject matter expert for business requirements into digital pricing tools including testing
Work closely with the reporting and insights team to define reporting requirements
Gather and analyse commercial insight in order to provide pricing guidance to the local markets
Responsible for adoption and utilisation of pricing tools
Provide input into training and communications for all updates to pricing tools
Requirements:
Financial/Commercial modelling experience
Applied thinking and data analysis
Attention to detail and problem solving
Project management
Communication & stakeholder management
Educated to degree level in Business Management or other quantitative discipline (e.g. Maths, Economics, Engineering)
Strong excel skills
