Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop advanced products (design specifications, materials, finished product, packaging, testing, etc.) and systems to customer specifications
  • Maintain and update standard product line and specifications
  • Improve the product design database and engineering systems
  • Work with sales and marketing to identify market technology drivers
  • Maintain project and test logs and records
  • Research, collect, and report information on company (and competitor) products
  • Provide technical training to selected Belden customers and Belden internal functions
  • Comply with Company Attendance Policy
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred with a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years electronic cable design or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Wire & Cable markets
  • MS Office programs
  • written and oral fluency in English
