Job Description

Buymed is seeking a passionate Product Development Manager to identify and launch new product opportunities across international markets (Korea, Japan, India, USA, Europe) and local manufacturers. This role covers both drug and non-drug categories (supplements, medical devices, cosmetics), working end-to-end from sourcing to launch.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify high-potential product opportunities globally and locally
  • Lead feasibility assessments, competitive benchmarking, and market-entry strategies
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with international brand owners, manufacturers, and suppliers
  • Manage full-cycle registration and compliance with pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products
  • Oversee co-development of non-drug healthcare innovations with domestic partners
  • Direct pricing research, margin analysis, and negotiation with suppliers
  • Drive collaboration with regulatory, legal, supply chain, commercial, and marketing teams to ensure on-time and successful launches
  • Act as the key decision-maker in managing timelines, go-to-market strategy, and launch performance tracking
  • Lead a small team or cross-department task force focused on new product launches
  • Ensure operational excellence, cost-efficiency, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, category management, or business development, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors
  • Proven success in launching and managing products from sourcing to commercialization
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication in English (written & verbal)
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously
