Product Development Engineering Technician 2

• Operate injection molding machines, including machine startup and shutdown
• Load molding programs and make minor process adjustments to improve part quality
• Monitor molded part quality and identify defects
• Perform trimming, sanding, deburring, assembly, polishing, and finishing of prototype parts
• Operate and troubleshoot 3D printing equipment and print builds
• Perform post-processing activities for 3D printed components
• Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins for dimensional verification
• Handle molding materials, dryers, moisture analyzers, and related lab equipment
• Support mold changeovers and machine setup activities
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Package, label, and ship prototype parts to customers
• Follow laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support prototype development projects

• 1–5 years of experience in injection molding, plastics, machine operation, or 3D printing preferred
• Experience in prototype manufacturing or lab environments preferred
• Familiarity with hands-on troubleshooting and machine operation
• Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office programs preferred
• Exposure to 3D printing technologies such as SLA, DLP, PolyJet, or FFF is a plus
• High School Diploma required
• Technical or manufacturing background preferred
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
