iCapital is looking for a Strategic Product Development/Project Management professional to support its continued global expansion. iCapital’s rapid growth across global markets – including EMEA, APAC and LatAm – creates a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic, rapid growth environment and a firm with an ambitious growth agenda. The Product Development team help to design and deliver new investment product capabilities to support the strategic direction of the firm – across a wide range of global markets. This may include target operating model design and implementation for new market entry, new fund capability or new product offerings. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of such strategic initiatives, including scoping/design, project plan development and coordinating delivery across both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally the candidate will have a background in consulting/project management and experience in wealth and/or asset management (specifically alternative/private markets). A successful candidate should be proactive and have strengths in problem solving/critical thinking and clear communication. This person will be based in London, reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects in London.
Job Responsibility:
Work with a team of product development colleagues who are responsible for new product development, product structuring, and fund lifecycle management. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.
Work with key clients (particularly asset managers) to deliver iCapital’s offerings
Support solution design for new strategic product initiatives, requiring collaboration across different regions, functions and teams
Support definition, tracking and delivery of project plans
Schedule regular calls with relevant teams
Develop, circulate, and track agendas
Coordinate with internal and external key stakeholders
Support internal governance committee reviews and sign-offs
5+ years of relevant experience, such as consulting/project management at a financial/professional services firm or working in a product role in wealth or asset manager
Experience in private markets and other alternative funds
Understanding of the lifecycle and operational processes of alternative investments
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise assignments
Positive attitude, proactive and a desire to work in a friendly, fast-moving entrepreneurial environment

Strong oral and written communication skills – proficiency in English required, other languages a plus
