As a Product Developer, you will report to the Equities Execution Platform team, contributing to our core mandate with a blend of strong technical acumen and a proactive, product-focused approach.
Job Responsibility:
Support all aspects of execution platform management for Equity Electronic Trading Products, ensuring seamless and efficient operation
Maintain a strong policy, risk management, and governance compliance structure within the Electronic Trading products, safeguarding our operations
Establish clear and specific project plans, business and technical requirements documents for product execution
Drive project management and tracking of new business initiatives, overseeing the release of new platform enhancements designed to grow revenue
Facilitate coordination of material change requests and engagement with Risk & Compliance partners to address feedback and secure approvals prior to release
Work closely with Traders, Quants, Technology, and other key partners to efficiently build and maintain a target-state E-Trading control framework. This includes developing advanced system alerts and re-engineering processes to deliver best-in-class solutions, ensuring consistent application across all regions and countries
Creates a platform vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding road-map to delivery
Follows market, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citi’s products and solutions platforms
Continuously innovate within the Execution Platform, developing and tailoring electronic trading services to adapt to changing market structure dynamics and evolving client demands
Focuses on controls and governance, including performing need-to-know based security and access reviews, approvals, controls testing and documentation
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in electronic trading platform or business management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and market microstructure for Cash Equities
Proven experience successfully driving day-to-day execution and strategic projects across a large, matrixed organization

Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
Ability to establish and maintain senior client relationships and to work across multiple facets of Citi businesses

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred
