Job Description:

We are launching a new menswear private label brand, built from the ground up with a strong focus on identity, market relevance, and long-term growth. As part of this exciting phase, we are building a new, dedicated team to shape and develop the brand from the very beginning. From concept to launch, we are defining every aspect of the collection and placing a strong emphasis on branding and a clear, consistent product vision. To support the team, we are looking for a Product Developer (m/f/d). In this position, you will be responsible for both the technical implementation of product development and the creative development of our collections. You will ensure that all product features meet ABOUT YOU standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure company standards for quality, fit, and function in close collaboration with buying, designers, and key stakeholders across the organization
  • Lead fittings and supervise fit assessments
  • Ensure provision of technical information/comments using our PDM system and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Take responsibility for the product lifecycle, risk management, and the timely implementation of projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with the buying and/or design teams to support the translation of original ideas into the final products

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in garment technology or comparable education
  • 3+ years of professional experience in product development and/or apparel production
  • Project management skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong knowledge of garment specifications, fit, and pattern making
  • Eye for detail and experience in dealing with suppliers and employees at all levels within the department
  • Passion for fashion, enthusiasm, hands-on mentality and a good team player
  • Fluent in English
