Job Description:

We're looking for a designer with a broad range of experience to help build the next generation of professional publishing software for independent creators. This is a role at Ghost, a non-profit organization creating modern, independent publishing technology.

Job Responsibility:

Creation of user interfaces, features, workflows and new ideas
Working with design and marketing teams to define, evolve, and maintain Ghost's identity across all product touch points and documentation
Working on cross-functional product teams
Taking control of your process, iterating and learning
Communicating effectively with stakeholders
Managing multiple projects, while setting appropriate expectations and meeting realistic deadlines
Working throughout the product development cycle from conducting user research, defining producing specifications, concepting, detailed design, front-end code, design support, and QA

Requirements:

Confidently independent
Meticulous about style
Humble but opinionated
A clear communicator
An active collaborator
Hungry for meaningful work, and space to do it
Very comfortable with code
Comfortable working in HTML/CSS
Knowledge of React is a bonus
Candidates in a timezone between UTC-5 to UTC+3
