We're looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to help shape these experiences end-to-end. You'll work on real, customer-facing problems, defining opportunities, exploring solutions, and turning complexity into experiences that feel clear, considered, and usable. You might be improving how people understand their cover, reducing friction in critical journeys, or evolving shared patterns across our platforms. As we learn more about our customers and products, priorities adapt, giving you the chance to work across different problem spaces and grow your impact. This role suits a designer who enjoys variety, thinks critically about problems, and wants their decisions, not just their screens, to make a meaningful difference.
Job Responsibility:
Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from early discovery through to delivery and iteration.
Contribute to the design quality of high-priority features across CDL's products, adapting as priorities evolve.
Frame design problems by clearly defining user needs, success criteria, constraints, and trade-offs.
Apply user-centred design principles to create thoughtful solutions grounded in evidence and clear problem statements.
Explore multiple ideas and approaches, knowing when to broaden exploration and when to focus based on insight and feedback.
Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes, and design artefacts to communicate ideas, test assumptions, and support decision-making.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life in a practical, sustainable way.
Use research and usability testing to validate designs and continuously improve outcomes.
Contribute to the CDL Design System and help improve consistency and quality across products.
Work within a fully integrated, AI-enabled process, using AI tools to support discovery, synthesis, ideation, and delivery as part of everyday design work.
Requirements:
You can work independently across an end-to-end design problem with appropriate support and collaboration.
You're comfortable working in ambiguity as problems and constraints evolve.
You care deeply about understanding user needs and grounding your decisions in research, insight, and data.
You can clearly explain your design decisions and connect them to user and business outcomes.
You have strong foundations in interaction design, and user journeys.
You're curious about how AI is shaping digital experiences.
You're comfortable using AI-enabled tools as part of your design and research workflow.
You enjoy working closely with product, engineering, and research partners and actively seek feedback.
You're committed to improving your craft and learning new tools, techniques, and ways of working.
