As a Product Designer, you will define specific product needs based on user insights to ideate to define solutions to meet user needs and create and develop design concepts and specifications that optimize the emotional and functional experience of a product, software, device, or service. This opportunity will allow you to focus on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical tradeoffs. You will produce visual designs from concept through delivery and sustainment, support interaction designs for hardware and/or software-based experiences, and partner with internal and external development teams, marketing and design groups to research and analyze customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product designs and overall design language and strategy. As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end experiences across software, devices, and services. You will conceptualize and develop solutions grounded in user needs identified through research, while effectively balancing business objectives and technical considerations. This role offers the opportunity to leverage a diverse range of skills, including product thinking, visual design, and interaction design. You will bring a high degree of ownership and creativity to transform innovative ideas into impactful solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the entire design cycle—from user research and problem discovery to wireframes, flows, pixel-perfect screens, usability testing, and iteration
Create wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes to validate concepts
explore AI-driven prototyping methods for faster execution
Collaborate with Engineering teams and perform QA checks to ensure design quality
Present design work clearly with rationale, leveraging prototypes to communicate flows and iterating quickly based on feedback
Partner with cross-functional teams to define product features and ensure alignment throughout the design process
Take ownership of small problems, proactively improving skills and contributing to team activities
Collaborate with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure design quality
Under guidance, contribute to visual designs by producing the visual language for a product
With direction, create wireframes, journey maps, and other elements to support interaction design
Participate in product UX improvements by creating interaction models
Clearly communicate your work to peers and managers within your immediate team
Working alongside a senior team member, create a compelling narrative for a specific product or feature
Help creative team members, program managers, and developers define product features
Participate in one study at a time as you help deliver product design results
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in industrial design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 2+ years related work experience working in product or service design
OR master’s degree in industrial design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND relevant internship/work experience working in product or service design
OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems
