Job Responsibility:
Utilize a full range of product thinking, interaction design, visual design and prototyping skills to design user interfaces, create graphics, and craft new experiences for both mobile and web applications
Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms
Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch
Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
Contribute to high-level product and design strategy with the rest of the product team
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data is used to inform design decisions
Requirements:
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in: 1. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
2. Using prototyping tools to demonstrate a particular flow or interaction
3. Visual Design skills with proficiency in typography, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense for desktop/mobile user interface
4. Understanding the theories of human behavior or Human-Computer Interaction
5. Understanding and contributing to user research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys and contextual inquiry
