EverPro is building a unified future for the products that power small and mid-size service businesses. We’re looking for a Product Designer who can operate at a higher level of autonomy, help shape the next generation of our platform, and work across multiple teams while keeping quality high and momentum strong. This role will spend most of its time on EverPro Edge and Service Nation. The long-term objective is to bring these two products together into a single, modern platform. In the meantime, you’ll help advance both products, guide discovery work, and make sure we keep delivering value while defining the path forward.
Job Responsibility:
Map, simplify, and merge the interaction patterns across Edge and Service Nation into one cohesive product
Translate business goals and messy legacy realities into clean, scalable UX models
Partner with engineering and product to create shared workflows, navigation, information architecture, and design system usage
Help define the “North Star” experience that unifies both products and supports future expansion
Design experiences that help SMB owners learn and apply business insights through AI-powered guidance and personalized coaching
Create intuitive interfaces for surfacing intelligent recommendations, training content, and coaching interventions at the right time
Translate complex business concepts into clear, actionable UI patterns that drive real outcomes for service business owners
Design systems that scale premium coaching insights to our broader member base
Design flows that reduce friction, highlight value fast, and drive self-serve adoption
Collaborate with data, growth, and engineering to build onboarding, in-product education, and personalization
Treat every screen as a chance to drive activation, retention, or expansion
Use research, analytics, and customer signals to inform decisions
Help PMs articulate problems more clearly before solutioning begins
Work with engineering to ensure solutions land cleanly, scalably, and with high craft
Own UX decisions and provide design leadership on active feature work
Maintain design quality across two product teams while pushing the unification strategy forward
Up-level how these teams work by introducing standards, better processes, and predictable design output
Identify gaps and push improvements that support the unified product roadmap
Help keep design patterns aligned, modern, and easy for engineering to implement
Requirements:
5+ years designing and shipping UX and UI for a software product of similar scale and complexity
A university degree or relevant degree in Design, Technology, or Social Science discipline
Experience working inside complex systems or multi-product ecosystems
Ability to lead discovery, define requirements, and operate without handholding
Strong product thinking: you understand tradeoffs, sequencing, dependencies
Demonstrated ability to collaborate deeply with PMs and engineering
A portfolio that shows simplicity, clarity, and strong execution
Comfortable designing for ambiguity, legacy constraints, and “future state” at the same time
Experience with PLG patterns, onboarding flows, and activation design
Strong proficiency in Figma and in working with design systems
Nice to have:
Experience doing research in the home improvement / home services industry
Experience conducting user tests, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users’ motivations, goals, and pain points
facilitate design sprints and other discovery sessions as needed
Experience digging into product analytics data, customer service contacts, and social media feedback to monitor current product usage patterns and identify future areas of enhancement
