Job Responsibility:
Design user experiences, digital interfaces, graphics, and layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web and mobile-based applications across key product disciplines (like Generative AI)
Translate broad ideas in technically complex initiatives (like machine learning and/or large language models) into simple and elegant design flows for business and consumer products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists, to drive product design from conception to launch
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs through partnering with product verticals (like User Research) on usability and empathy studies, define design solutions and create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps and interaction models resulting in high-fidelity prototypes
Foster positive, collaborative relationships across teams through giving and soliciting feedback from peers, facilitating critiques to “raise the bar” for design quality
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences or a related field
Requires completion of university-level coursework, internship or research project involving the following: Designing and shipping AI-powered applications or software at the level of whole features or products across web and mobile platforms
Interaction design, with proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or XD
Visual design, with experience creating brand and design systems, typography, desktop and mobile user interface, color, layout and iconography
Identifying opportunities, by interpreting user research and usability testing, driving workshops using methods like card sorting, affinity diagrams
Building user flow and high-fidelity mockups to story tell articulate design concepts, visualizing ideas and concepts for internal teams, partners and customers in to-business and to consumer problem spaces
Defining product specification, organizing and communicating motivations with different engineering and business partners to deliver outcomes
System thinking and product strategy, with an emphasis in areas of AI, machine learning, and large language models
