As a Product Designer at Skip/JET, you'll be part of a UX team looking after the apps and websites our couriers use to deliver globally. You’ll work with an empowered cross-functional team that prioritises using research and data to help understand the problem space, before moving through the design process to deliver engaging and user-friendly solutions. You'll be part of a passionate UX team of 100+ UX designers, UI designers, product designers, service designers, researchers and writers across 7 countries.
Job Responsibility:
Focus on key user problems and come up with innovative solutions to those problems
Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, user journeys, wireframes, visual design mock-ups and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualise and communicate detailed interaction behaviours
Work across the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery
Collaborate with engineering & product management to build your design roadmap, manage timeline, build experiences and present your work to stakeholders
Proactively explore and adopt AI trends and tools to accelerate the design process, rapidly iterate on concepts, and optimize collaboration with engineers
Communicate progress and present ideas to both the Design team and wider stakeholders
Excel at asynchronous communication to keep collaboration smooth as JET operates across different timezones
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a UX/UI design role
Ability to execute on projects end-to-end from problem discovery, hi-fidelity designs, and developer handoff
Experience working in agile/sprint-based environments
Experience in regard to collaboration/projects with product, research and tech teams
Experience designing UIs for iOS, Android, and responsive web
Experience working with and contributing to design systems and component libraries
Experience with unmoderated user testing tools (Maze, usertesting.com)
High fidelity prototyping skills (Figma, etc.)
Comfortable presenting to larger audiences and senior stakeholders
Experience with workshop facilitation and design sprints
Ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and proactively contribute to the objectives of the business
