Job Description

We are looking for a contract Product Designer to focus on improving the UX of our B2B customer portals. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces. This is a 6-8 month contract position requiring 2 days per week onsite in Atlanta, GA, with a total of 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibility

  • User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points
  • Analyze user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop user personas and user journey maps to inform design decisions
  • UX Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for B2B customer portal features
  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that align with business requirements and user needs
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the portals
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful implementation
  • Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively through presentations and documentation
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and execute usability tests
  • Analyze test results and iterate on designs to improve user experience
  • Document and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a focus on B2B applications
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process and deliverables
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience designing complex data driven interfaces
  • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, 2 days a week
