Job Description

As a designer in the cross-functional Reservations product team, you will have an opportunity to help shape the direction of this part of the product portfolio. In this role you will take holistic ownership of the user experience within this realm, working closely with key stakeholders and team members to continuously improve the offering. You will champion the user perspective, leverage user research, define problem spaces, and translate complex requirements into elegant, simple, and delightful experiences, spanning both web and app ecosystems.

Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for all key features within the Reservations product, from initial concept to final implementation and further iteration
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver the best possible user experience
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces – for both web and app contexts – creating concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that meet both user needs and business goals
  • Contribute to user research activities, including planning, executing, and synthesizing insights to inform design decisions
  • Actively collaborate with the design system team, ensuring consistency and quality across the Reservations product and the broader Arrive ecosystem
  • Present and clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, ideally working on web based, consumer-facing digital products in a cross-functional team environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in UX and UI design, problem-solving, and the ability to ship impactful products
  • Proven experience in defining user problems, leveraging research, and translating insights into well-executed design solutions
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with a design system

Experience designing for multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile apps) is a plus
