The Power Platform Core team builds the low code foundation that enables millions of makers, partners, and teams to create impactful business solutions at scale. We shape the platform that makes building apps, workflows, and digital experiences intuitive, reliable, and enterprise ready. We work at the intersection of design, engineering, and product to define cohesive experiences across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and shared platform services. Our purpose is to reduce complexity, unlock creativity with AI, and help solutions scale from a first idea to enterprise-wide adoption. As a Product Designer II, you will design end‑to‑end experiences that make the Power Platform more intuitive, performant, and delightful for a global audience. You will collaborate directly with engineering, PM, and design partners across multiple geographies to simplify complex workflows and translate technical systems into approachable user experiences. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the Bangalore office.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure quality while developing the ability to challenge design limitations
Produce visual designs by creating the visual language for a set of products
Create wireframes, journey maps, and other elements to support interaction design
Participate in product UX improvements by creating interaction models while acting as a liaison between users and products
Clearly communicate and present your work and learnings to peers and managers within your studio team and communicate user needs to team members and recommend ideas to create a compelling productive narrative
Complete fundamental tasks with creative team members, program managers, and developers to define product features and will help deliver and ideate product design results by participating in one or more studies at a time, while also influencing collaborators
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
2+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process
Experience with end‑to‑end design processes, from research to shipped product
Strong background in systems design, platform design, or enterprise/technical tooling
Experience partnering with engineering on highly technical interfaces
Growth mindset (learn-it-all attitude) with strong collaboration skills
Willingness to question assumptions and push for innovative design outcomes
Excellent use of modern design tools (e.g., Figma or similar) and familiarity with design systems and style guides for consistency
Demonstrated ability to use vibe designing/coding tools (e.g., Figma Make, Github Spark, Cursor...)
