Job Description:

We're looking for a product designer to join the Merchant Success team for Grocery & Retail at Uber Eats. As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in building trust with merchants through new capabilities like reporting and insights, disbursements, invoicing, and more to help them run their business successfully.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process: Build a deep understanding of the users you are designing for through data and research, lead the end-to-end design process
  • Craft: Turn big ideas into simple, elegant products. Ship features that are effective and easy to use

  • Communication: Communicate with clarity and persuasiveness
  • Influence: Lead team activities through ideas, organization, and execution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Product Design experience
  • Experience building products for mobile apps, tablets, and web interfaces
  • A portfolio showing your high-quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
  • Fluent/Advanced English skills

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with Figma or similar tools and prototyping methods
  • Experience working with user experience researchers and various methods of research
  • Experience working and collaborating in a tech environment
  • Shipped many successful software products, ideally both mobile and desktop
  • Highly proficient in storytelling and prototyping
  • Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team
  • Experience designing with large-scale design systems and frameworks
