Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to lead design for the Instagram Creator Marketing Pillar. This role will support the skilled design team that’s creating the future of Creator Marketing across Meta and the larger industry. From influencing the cross-Meta investment strategy, to simplifying complex creator and advertiser tools, to upholding a high Craft bar for users of the IG app – this role will be crucial to shaping how Creators turn their passion into a living on Instagram.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive vision for the next generation of creator marketing at Instagram and Meta across consumer experiences, creator, and advertiser tools
  • Support, coach and grow experienced designers into places of high impact that align with their career goals
  • Be a leader within the entire Instagram for Business product group within the design function and across cross-functional leads
  • Champion Instagram Craft of the Instagram product overall by driving design + Craft initiatives
  • Incept and drive initiatives that improve the efficiency, caliber and satisfaction of the pillar and the larger organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience in Product Design
  • 4+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
  • 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams
  • Have demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple teams and designers across complex initiatives that resulted in top-level impact. Example: Two-sided marketplaces, cross-organization priority workstreams
  • Are a staunch advocate for simplicity and Craft. You sweat the details and your teams do too
  • Experienced coach that's grown designers into places of high impact aligned with their strengths and aspirations
  • Have a proven record of influencing long-term product vision and phased strategy
