Job Description:

You'll join Mirakl Ads (Retail Media), one of Mirakl's strategic high-growth product pillars. You'll support 3 product squads and work closely with Laura Robert (Product Manager) and Xavier Hue (Senior Product Manager), who will jointly supervise your internship. You'll collaborate daily with Product Management, Data Science, and Analytics Engineering teams to measure feature impact and transform data insights into actionable decisions that directly influence the product roadmap. This role offers high visibility—you'll regularly present findings to the team and management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct end-to-end data analysis: define problems, prepare and preprocess data, perform statistical analyses, and validate results to ensure accuracy
  • Quantify the impact of product releases and changes using before/after analyses, sizing, hypothesis testing, and segmentation techniques
  • Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify optimization opportunities
  • Coordinate with Data Science teams to assess algorithmic changes and translate technical results into clear business and product recommendations
  • Present insights and recommendations regularly to the product team and management, influencing strategic decisions with high visibility

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a gap year internship, end-of-studies internship, or career change internship (6 months, starting July 2026)
  • Strong analytical mindset with rigorous problem definition, logical reasoning, and structured thinking
  • Solid foundation in statistics: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and methodological choices for impact analysis and group comparisons
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Python experience is a plus
  • Experience with exploratory data analysis/preprocessing (data cleaning, normalization, outlier management) is a plus
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase or equivalent) and data visualization best practices is a plus
  • Curious, motivated, and proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative in identifying opportunities and driving projects forward
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical stakeholders)
  • Eager to learn with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools, methodologies, and business contexts in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using AI tools critically (able to explain, challenge, and correct AI-generated outputs)
  • Professional level of English required to collaborate with international teams and present findings
