We are looking for a business-driven and forward-thinking Senior Analyst to own and further develop Product Cost and Investment calculations across EMEA at our client. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, providing critical insight to support profitability, capital allocation, and future growth initiatives. The position plays an active role in the Technology Committee, helping identify and evaluate new business opportunities. The role allows strong focus on value-added financial analysis and impactful business partnering. Our market-leading partner in the development and production of polymer-based products, which offers innovative system solutions in many areas, is looking for a new colleague to join its team in Biatorbágy. Job Responsibility

  • Own and enhance complex EMEA product cost calculations, ensuring transparency and providing high-quality insights for customer quotations
  • Prepare and review multi-million EUR business cases (CAPEX), evaluating financial viability through NPV, IRR, and payback metrics
  • Act as the Finance representative in the Technology Committee to identify and evaluate new growth opportunities alongside engineers and leadership
  • Lead the evolution from manual, Excel-based execution to automated, business-driven analysis and improved SAP master data utilization
  • Translate global development ideas and management visions into robust financial projections and investment proposals
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Strategy teams, including on-site factory visits to ensure deep process understanding

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, or a related field
  • Several years of senior-level experience in Plant Controlling or Product Cost Calculation (manufacturing/industrial background is essential)
  • Expert financial modeling skills and a proven track record in process transformation and automation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SAP knowledge (particularly master data) is highly advantageous
  • Fluency in English and German is required
  • A proactive, business-oriented approach with the ability to challenge stakeholders and work independently in a complex matrix environment
