Job Description:

Product Control Lead Analyst role within EMEA Product Control team, responsible for overseeing and analyzing daily P&L, compliance with policies, and process improvement in collaboration with trading and finance teams.

Job Responsibility:

Accountable for the control design of the team including timely completion and monitoring of control activities
Manage the scope of work that belong under the team’s mandate and participate in process migrations
Actively participate in hiring and initiatives to improve the hiring process
Work closely with all areas of the Finance department, liaising with Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office and IT teams
Ensure all deliverables are met, regulatory deadlines are kept and audit rating is satisfactory
Escalate issues and concerns around processes and drive efficiency projects
Support standardization efforts and process improvement ideas.

Requirements:

At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
A university or college degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage
Good command of spoken and written English
Confident analytical and communication skills
Controls focused mind-set
Strong PC skills in Excel, Word
Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in financial products is an advantage
Good financial accounting skills
A self-starter who proactively seeks to improve existing controls and streamline processes both from a tactical short-term viewpoint and also from a strategic long-term perspective
Hands-on with attention to detail and clear communication to seniors.
