Job Description

Product Control Lead Analyst role within EMEA Product Control team, responsible for overseeing and analyzing daily P&L, compliance with policies, and process improvement in collaboration with trading and finance teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the control design of the team including timely completion and monitoring of control activities
  • Manage the scope of work that belong under the team’s mandate and participate in process migrations
  • Actively participate in hiring and initiatives to improve the hiring process
  • Work closely with all areas of the Finance department, liaising with Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office and IT teams
  • Ensure all deliverables are met, regulatory deadlines are kept and audit rating is satisfactory
  • Escalate issues and concerns around processes and drive efficiency projects
  • Support standardization efforts and process improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • A university or college degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Confident analytical and communication skills
  • Controls focused mind-set
  • Strong PC skills in Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in financial products is an advantage
  • Good financial accounting skills
  • A self-starter who proactively seeks to improve existing controls and streamline processes both from a tactical short-term viewpoint and also from a strategic long-term perspective
  • Hands-on with attention to detail and clear communication to seniors.
