Job Description:

The Prod Ctrl Lead Analyst participates is a senior level position responsible for leading efforts that ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The role drives efforts to control and support data integrity, general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution, valuation control, and product P&L reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Finance industry trends
  • contribute to the directional strategy of the Finance function, anticipating the impact to daily work and the Fixed Income Rates & CCY Markets Segment
  • evaluate and resolve complex issues and select the best action by weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs
  • oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely segment-related data for U.S. financial statements, reports, and disclosures, including 10Q/10K, annual reports and regulatory filings
  • provide guidance and oversee the Markets Controller team supporting Japan businesses in Manila
  • partner with Operations to understand and ensure the integrity of the end-to-end data flows and controls for the segment and ensure any issues are evaluated for impact to financial and regulatory reporting
  • ensure timely, accurate, and locally compliant financial, statutory, and regulatory reporting for Japan legal entities
  • appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • evidence of robust control focus
  • experience in financial control, valuation of Fixed Income Product or related discipline preferable
  • bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • master’s degree preferred
