Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Content Specialist to support product onboarding and content quality for our client’s eCommerce site. This contract role ensures Product Detail Pages (PDPs) are accurate, complete, and customer-ready by processing incoming product content, resolving data and workflow issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that combines content processing, data accuracy, quality control, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate enjoys structured work, can manage high volumes of product data, and communicates clearly with internal stakeholders when content is blocked or priorities shift.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of product content to the client’s eCommerce platform
  • Process incoming vendor content so it is accurate, complete, and customer-facing
  • Ensure product information is uploaded and maintained on Product Detail Pages (PDPs)
  • Perform regular quality checks on PDPs to ensure content accuracy and consistency
  • Identify and troubleshoot content or data issues that prevent products from going live
  • Act as a source of knowledge for other teams when onboarding questions arise
  • Partner with purchasing, marketing, and operations teams to provide status updates and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with external agencies supporting product titles or enhanced content, ensuring clear instructions and timelines
  • Communicate clearly when issues are blocked, delayed, or dependent on other teams
  • Manage daily and weekly content intake to prevent backlogs
  • Support priority or promotional product requests that require quick pivots
  • Contribute to process improvements as tools and automation evolve
  • Support enhanced content initiatives as the scope expands

Requirements:

  • Experience onboarding or managing product content in an eCommerce environment
  • Strong Excel skills, including filters and formulas (lookup experience preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude and strong follow-through

Nice to have:

  • Background in marketing, content operations, or digital merchandising
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices related to product content
  • Experience working with vendors or external agencies
  • Familiarity with automation, AI tools, or process improvement initiatives
  • Retail or consumer goods experience
What we offer:
  • subsidized health, vision, and dental plans
  • paid sick leave
  • retirement plans with a match
