Job Description

This role will work on the 1st line to proactively monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory changes across all countries, assess their impact on our products and services, and coordinate the product response to ensure timely and effective compliance. The Product Compliance Manager will be the internal expert and point of contact for product-related compliance matters, supporting our goal of maintaining full compliance while enabling scalable, compliant product growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Responsibility

  • Track and assess country-specific regulatory developments beyond licensing obligations (e.g. fiscalisation, tax reporting, PSD2/3, etc)
  • Maintain a structured product change log across all operating markets
  • Identify potential compliance or product impacts and escalate early to relevant stakeholders
  • Work with Product, Legal, and Compliance to assess how new or changing regulations affect existing or planned myPOS products
  • Translate regulatory requirements into clear product and operational action working with the product manager or lead
  • Ensure ownership and accountability are established for delivery of compliance-related changes
  • Act as the go-to expert for Product, Engineering, and Business teams on local regulatory and compliance needs
  • Provide guidance on what is required, optional, or out of scope from a compliance standpoint
  • Support market expansion by defining regulatory readiness requirements for new countries
  • Maintain clear visibility and reporting to senior leadership on upcoming regulatory changes, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Support internal governance forums with compliance updates and recommendations
  • Promote a culture of compliance awareness across Product and Operational teams

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of financial services regulation (payments, e-money, or banking)
  • Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or product risk management roles
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulations into practical business and product actions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a multi-country, fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working with regulators in payments or banking is a plus
