You will develop and execute compliance strategies across deposit and related money services, serve as a key point of contact with bank partners and regulators, and help embed compliance-by-design principles throughout the product lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in enabling responsible product growth while meeting state and federal regulatory expectations.

  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to support the design, launch, and iteration of new banking features while integrating compliance requirements early in development
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve banking compliance policies, procedures, and controls to align with internal standards and external regulatory and partner expectations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services compliance, with deep experience in banking and fintech environments
  • Hands-on experience working with bank partners and engaging with state and federal regulatory agencies
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, including Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), the Truth in Savings Act (TISA), and money transmission laws
  • Demonstrated ability to design and scale compliance programs for consumer financial products in a high-growth, technology-driven environment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, apply sound judgment, and communicate clearly on complex regulatory and product issues
  • Alignment with Robinhood’s mission to expand access to the U.S. financial system

What we offer

  • Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Lifestyle wallet — a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces
