The Compliance Data Engineer supports the global Aurora Networks Product Compliance organization by executing high-volume regulatory data collection, validation, and system entry activities. This role works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management, and external suppliers to ensure accurate, complete, and audit-ready data aligned to global product environmental regulations. The engineer plays a critical role in gathering and validating RoHS/REACH/PFAS, Conflict Minerals, Extended Minerals, and other substance/compliance data required for reporting, certifications, and customer requests. The position ensures data integrity across compliance tools and ERP systems and supports regulatory intelligence workflows by monitoring and assessing impacts of new regulations on product data requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Execute supplier outreach for RoHS, REACH, PFAS, Conflict Minerals, and Extended Minerals data collection
Validate incoming supplier declarations, FMDs, CMRT/EMRT, and compliance evidence using established workflows
Enter structured data into SI, SAP, CMRT/EMRT tools, SharePoint, and compliance databases
Maintain accurate product-level compliance data to support SCIP, EPR/WEEE, plastics registry, PFAS, and other reporting requirements
Track missing, outdated, inconsistent, or incomplete data and proactively follow up with suppliers
Support regulatory intelligence activities by assessing new global regulations and understanding data changes required
Support improvement of data workflows, templates, and procedures for supplier communication and intake
Support creation and maintenance of SOPs, WI, and documentation for data governance processes
Escalate data gaps, supplier non-responsiveness, or high-risk findings to Compliance Leads or Managers
Requirements:
Preferably 3+ years of experience in product compliance, materials compliance, supplier data management, or regulatory data operations
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent
Experience with compliance data collection or regulatory frameworks (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, WEEE, Conflict Minerals, EPR, etc.)
Experience using ERP or compliance tools (SAP, SI, CMRT/EMRT platforms, SharePoint, or similar)
Ability to interpret technical data sheets, supplier declarations, and regulatory documentation
Nice to have:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable engaging suppliers to resolve data or documentation gaps
Proactive in identifying risks or inconsistencies in data and escalating appropriately
