Job Description:

As Product Communications Lead, you’ll shape and amplify the story of Phantom’s expanding suite of products—helping position Phantom as the safest and easiest-to-use entry point to crypto. This role will lead external communications across all product lines, including new categories like Phantom Cash, the CASH stablecoin and a growing set of developer platform products, as Phantom evolves beyond a crypto trading app into a broader consumer finance platform. You’ll be part of the Comms team, working closely with Product and Marketing to drive consistent, high-quality media coverage and narrative clarity around Phantom’s products, launches, and long-term vision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own Phantom’s product narrative across media and thought leaders—ensuring consistent, disciplined storytelling aligned with company strategy
  • Shape positioning for new products and categories that expand Phantom’s reach beyond retail trading into consumer finance and payments
  • Lead media strategy and execution for key product announcements, partnerships, and launches
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align on messaging and go-to-market strategy across channels
  • Proactively identify storylines and opportunities that advance Phantom’s reputation as the best place for consumers to experience the benefits of crypto
  • Serve as a trusted voice on external communications strategy, balancing speed, clarity, and discipline

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product, technology, or fintech communications
  • crypto/web3 experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading successful product announcements and securing coverage in top-tier outlets
  • Deep understanding of how media, influencers, and public narratives shape perception in fast-moving industries
  • Strong relationships across tech and crypto press are a plus
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and judgment under pressure
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, high-autonomy environment with evolving priorities
