Job Description:

Product Communication Specialist is responsible for creating and securing high quality product communication content for all sales channels and making the buying process easy and smooth for our customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsibility for planning, creating, and implementing product communication content
  • Be in close cooperation with relevant communication functions in IKEA of Sweden AB, to make sure that the communication is in line with IKEA’s commercial strategies
  • Act as a key contributor in the development of new communication content, based on the needs from range, legal compliance, sustainability, customers, markets or sales channels
  • Act as a project leader when briefing and approving product communication content, e.g., texts, visuals and store communication from both in-house and external suppliers
  • Manage the execution of communication production in the different media activation projects
  • Secure the quality of product communication content in the back-end databases

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and passion in the marketing and communication field
  • Several years of experience working with communication, including digital
  • Preferably an academic degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent
  • Experience of working throughout all dimensions of communication: graphics, visuals and copy
  • Proven skills in writing and editing content with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English language (at least C1 level)
  • Ability to be detailed, structured and analytical
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities when receiving assignments with tight deadlines while working in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
