Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Product and Application Specialist to join our team in Milton Keynes. This pivotal role will support our sales efforts by providing expert product knowledge, application advice, and customer support to ensure clients receive tailored solutions that meet their operational needs. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between our product development, sales teams, and customers, ensuring that technical expertise is leveraged to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide in-depth product and application knowledge to support the sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate Bizerba products and solutions to meet their operational challenges
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives to develop tailored proposals and quotations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving product or application issues, liaising with technical support and engineering teams as required
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to influence product development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and relevant technologies to maintain expert knowledge
  • Support trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events to showcase Bizerba’s product portfolio

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a product specialist, application specialist, or technical sales support role, ideally within the weighing, food processing, or related technology sectors
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service excellence
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and explain complex products and applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote working environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK to meet customers or attend events
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
  • a technical qualification or degree is advantageous
