Job Description:

As a Product Analyst – Senior Manager on the CMX team, you will be a key player in driving data-driven decisions that optimize our sponsored ad products and user experience. You will analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to inform product roadmaps and strategies. This role is integral to ensuring our advertising solutions meet the needs of both users and advertisers while supporting CMX's mission of growth and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure product performance, and uncover actionable insights to support the CMX product strategy
  • track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for CMX-sponsored ad products, identifying areas of opportunity and driving continuous improvement
  • partner closely with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and sales teams to provide data-driven recommendations that align with business goals
  • analyze advertiser and user behavior to uncover insights that improve targeting, engagement, and overall ad performance
  • design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and guide product development decisions
  • build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI to present insights and performance trends to stakeholders
  • conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on industry trends to help position CMX’s advertising products as market leaders

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a product analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven role, preferably within an ad tech or retail media environment
  • proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus
  • strong knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and reporting
  • ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights and strategies

Nice to have:

  • strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • experience working cross-functionally with teams in product, engineering, and business units to drive alignment and achieve shared goals
  • deep curiosity about understanding advertiser and user behaviors, with a commitment to delivering solutions that exceed expectations
