Job Description:

We are filling a 6-month contract-to-permanent opportunity for a Producer II in Missouri City, Texas. The role involves coordinating and producing municipal programming and special events, as well as managing audio/visual and production equipment. This position will also be responsible for creating graphic materials for city events and managing the filming and editing of videos for the city's social media.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and produce municipal programming and special events
  • Manage audio/visual, recording, and production equipment
  • Exhibit exceptional video editing capabilities
  • Assist in coordinating pre-production planning and post-production activities
  • Act as a content specialist during emergencies and other major events
  • Design graphic materials for city events, news, and programs
  • Handle filming and editing of videos and photography for the city's social media
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software such as Final Cut Pro X, HTML Coding, Garage Band, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Suite
  • Show skill in production planning, video production, storytelling, and brand building
  • Exhibit experience with videography, digital design, video shooting, and video editing

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior Producer or similar role in the industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Lightroom
  • Proven experience in creating and managing Advertisements
  • Strong knowledge of Animation techniques and software
  • Experience in Broadcast production, both live and recorded
  • Proficiency in Color Correction techniques and software
  • Demonstrated experience in producing Commercials
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree is required

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Apple Macintosh systems
